Education Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow job tickets, production specifications, and safety procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with basic computer data entry experience preferred.


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of printing press, flexographic printing, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of flexographic printing processes, press setup, color registration, die cutting, and quality inspection.
  • Experience troubleshooting production equipment and maintaining accurate production records.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic press operation and maintenance preferred.


Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout an entire shift.
  • Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production schedules and customer demands.
  • Capable of working safely around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.


Job Duties

  • Set up, operate, and monitor a flexographic printing press to produce high-quality printed labels that meet customer specifications.
  • Review job tickets, prepare materials, inks, plates, dies, and equipment, and assist with efficient job changeovers.
  • Inspect printed labels for quality, color accuracy, registration, die cutting, and overall consistency throughout production runs.
  • Enter production data, track materials, and maintain accurate records using LabelTrax and other production systems.
  • Troubleshoot basic press issues, communicate production concerns to supervisors, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Move completed label rolls to the finishing department, clean and maintain equipment, and keep work areas organized and safe.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, housekeeping, and manufacturing procedures while helping meet productivity, scrap, and production goals.
