Description
This is a benefit-eligible, part-time position (36 hours every two weeks), working 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm - 7:00am) on various days and located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas in the Observation Unit. At Scripps Health, your ambition is empowered and your abilities are appreciated:
The Outpatient Observation Unit is a 20-bed hospital-based outpatient unit located on the first floor of the Acute Care Building at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. The department provides care for outpatient observation and extended recovery patients requiring less than 24 hours of care. Patients may be admitted from the Emergency Department, direct physician observation admissions, or post-procedural/post-operative recovery. The unit cares for a variety of telemetry, medical, and procedural patients in a fast-paced environment focused on safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. We are seeking patient-centered individuals who are hardworking, efficient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining a high level of care and attention to detail.
