Note: This position will be filled as an Engineer II or Engineer III based on the selected candidate's experience Position Summary This engineering position is within the Distributed Energy (DE) Strategy & Services team in the Distributed Energy Organization. The DE Strategy & Services team supports the interconnection of renewable energy to the distribution grid by ensuring technical and regulatory compliance of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) such as solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS), and microgrid projects. This Engineer II or Engineer III role will be responsible for performing in-depth DER interconnection studies, refining interconnection study processes, and recommending and implementing process improvement initiatives. The candidate needs to have a technical background and be comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced, technical environment.
