The Hershey Company Reese plant is aNon-Unionplant producing products such as Reese's Peanut Butter Cups & Kit Kat, in a high-speed complex environment. The primary role and responsibility of the Electrical/Controls Specialist is to provide technical support ensuring production lines and plant processes are operational. This is achieved through technicalexpertiserelated to troubleshooting,repairingandmaintainingprocess instrumentation, PLC's, controlsystemsand computers.Expertisewith installation, maintenance, and repair of plant electrical systems including equipment troubleshooting, power distribution, motor control, and network/data security alsorequired. The Electrical Specialist will also coordinate activities with internal disciplines and external contractors for the completion and start-up of non-routine PMs and capital projects. The Specialist must ensure that all work is performedin accordance withestablished guidelines and regulations for safety, GMP's and sanitation, including conformance to Federal,Stateand local Electrical Codes. The Electrical Specialist willassistReese Engineering & Safety with equipment inspections to ensure proper labeling and functioning of safety equipment and protective gear, verifying compliance with relevantregulationsand taking corrective action asrequired.
