The Department of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University Chicago seeks qualified candidates for an appointment as a Temporary Full-Time Instructor beginning Fall 2026. The Department of Biology has 48 full-time faculty serving 1,600 undergraduate majors and is located on the university's Lakeshore Campus. We welcome candidates with strong teaching profiles in any areas of biology to teach lecture and lab sections of introductory General Biology for STEM majors. The candidate will have a doctorate in biology or a closely related field at the time of appointment. The anticipated salary for this position is $68,000 - $75,000.
