In the role of Senior Product Manager, you will drive measurable improvements in content safety and compliance across AI-powered experiences that align with both government regulations and industry norms. You will lead AI/ML model roadmap that supports the needs of various product teams that leverage our signals and capabilities.

You will develop a product roadmap, fostering a safe, reliable, and enjoyable experience for users. Embracing the One Microsoft philosophy, you will collaborate with various product teams that benefit from signals and capabilities. Your responsibilities will include developing safety features, devising technical strategies to enhance our trust and safety procedures, and identifying methods to detect and mitigate risk. You will work in close partnership with policy experts, engineers, data scientists, operations, and legal/PR teams to ensure a secure content experience.

As a proactiveproductmanager, you will oversee the integrity and delivery of products from start to finish. Our teams are global, and you will engage with teamslocatedin Beijing, Dublin, Cairo, and various locations in the United States.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.



Responsibilities
  • Define product vision and strategy,safetyproduct roadmap, set success metrics that inform the success of safety efforts, and partner across the organization to deliver results.
  • Focus on building effective and scalable features and toolstomitigaterisk,ensuresafetyandpreventmisinformation.
  • Work with policy experts, as well asXFNpartners, toestablisha workflow to critically analyze, prioritize, and drive cross-functional efforts to achieve success. Develop a robust workflowtomanage large-scale product improvement projects to improve community safety.
  • Define policiesforcompliance, privacy, and risk management parameters to meet industry and company standards.
  • Create scalable solutions that can be applied as a framework for solving multiple scenarios across different partners and use cases.
  • Collect and synthesize partner feedback, analyze metrics tomaintainoperating standards and constantly refinecontent signalscapabilities.
  • Educate and drive adoption of safety standards and policies.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in managing product roadmap for developing AI models and algorithms.
  • Experience incontentmanagement,trustandsafety.
  • Exceptional product sense: ability toanticipateproductneeds, validate hypotheses, and make informed prioritization decisions.
  • High agency: self-starter who takes initiative, influences outcomes, thrives in fast-pacedandevolving contexts.
  • Experience in AI-first content management, Trust, and Safety.
  • Provenexperiencebuildingscalablecontentevaluationsand frameworks.
  • Provenexperiencebuilding frameworkstoensure the trust andsafetyof AImodels.
  • MBAwith concentration on either product management, product strategy, operations management,andcontentstrategy.
  • Knowledge of new policy development and implementation.
  • Ability to design product solutions based on evidence; delivering value-adding products, and/or organizational or process changes thatbenefitthe business.
  • Ability to influencecrossfunctional teams.
  • Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures.
  • Data analysis skills for product design and knowledge of methods for researching and analyzing product designs todeterminetheir potential for meeting organizational standards and business needs.
  • Proficient writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in presenting to senior leadership on regular cadence.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
