Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
The Associate Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management (
AVPEM) provides executive leadership for the University's comprehensive enrollment strategy, overseeing recruitment, financial aid, and student onboarding through degree completion. The
AVPSEM is responsible for achieving institutional enrollment goals through data-informed planning, integrated operations, and collaboration with Academic Affairs and institutional leadership.
This position leads a coordinated enrollment enterprise and drives initiatives to improve student access, persistence, and completion. The
AVPSEM reports to the Provost and serves as a key advisor on enrollment strategy and institutional priorities.

| Minimum Requirements |
* Master's degree in higher education administration, student personnel, or a related field.
* Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible senior-level administrative experience in enrollment management or student services within higher education.
* Demonstrated success in strategic enrollment planning, including recruitment, financial aid coordination, and retention initiatives.
* Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop teams in a complex organizational environment.
* Strong analytical skills, including experience using data to inform decision-making and assess outcomes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage different stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience managing budgets and organizational resources.
* Working knowledge of student information systems and enrollment technologies.

* Doctoral degree in higher education administration or a related field.
* Experience at an institution of comparable size, complexity, or mission, such as a public research university or
HBCU.
* Experience implementing advanced enrollment analytics, including predictive modeling or financial aid leveraging strategies.
* Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide change initiatives, such as
CRM implementation, process redesign, or technology modernization.
* Experience aligning enrollment strategy with institutional strategic planning and representing the institution at the system, state, or national level.
