Job Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical products used in industrial automation systems. This role interprets work instructions, bills of materials, blueprints, and electrical schematics to produce high-quality assemblies while meeting quality and production standards. The ideal candidate has experience with wiring, soldering, crimping, and mechanical assembly and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions and engineering documentation.
  • Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), blueprints, electrical schematics, and assembly drawings.
  • Perform wiring, cable routing, component installation, and kit assembly.
  • Crimp terminals and solder electrical connections as required.
  • Connect cables, tubing, and wiring according to specifications.
  • Position, align, and fasten components using hand tools and power tools.
  • Verify measurements, tolerances, and assembly quality to ensure defect-free products.
  • Perform visual inspections and identify assembly discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and follow established assembly procedures.
  • Work independently from work instructions and on-the-job training.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and additional production duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Experience in electro-mechanical, electrical, or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.
  • Experience with wiring, crimping, soldering, and cable assembly.
  • Ability to understand measurements and tolerances.
  • Proficiency using hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality assemblies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a production environment.


Education



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Technical training in electronics, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus.
