As part of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to make a significant impact by directly shaping the user experience and business operations of a vital customer-facing web application, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and cloud-native services to build the future.

About the Role

Are you a passionate software engineer eager to leave your mark on a sophisticated, customer-facing web application? This is your chance to be at the forefront of development, where your contributions will directly influence user experience and system functionality. This dynamic role offers a true full-stack experience, deeply rooted in modern web technologies and cloud-native backend services. You'll be instrumental in maintaining and improving micro frontends, integrating with robust microservice architectures, and ensuring scalable data operations, all while expanding your capabilities and expertise across both front-end and back-end disciplines.

What You'll Do

  • Support and enhance a customer-facing web application, focusing on ReactJS-based micro frontends and cloud-native backend services.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and integrate features, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, performant, and maintainable software.
  • Work within an Agile environment, actively participating in two-week sprints, daily stand-ups, and contributing to sprint goals.
  • Analyze requirements, prepare design specifications, and write and test code to deliver moderately complex functionality for key applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to performance, quality, and cost, applying specialized knowledge of engineering applications.
  • Lead the resolution of medium to difficult technical issues and provide timely support for production issues in line with established service level agreements.
  • Engage in upskilling and reskilling efforts to align with evolving project requirements and technological advancements.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in ReactJS and TypeScript for building modular, reusable UI components and effective state management within a micro frontend architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and integrating independently deployable frontend modules to support scalable and maintainable UI systems.
  • Solid understanding of NodeJS for building RESTful APIs and backend services in a microservices environment.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including automated build, test, and deployment pipelines; familiarity with GitHub Actions and advanced security practices.
  • Ability to securely and efficiently consume and expose APIs across frontend and backend layers.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications using AWS services such as ECS Fargate, Dynamo, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL or equivalent Relational Database systems.
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing tools like Jest, Vitest, RTL, and JUnit.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog or AWS CloudWatch for observability and debugging.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments, utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence.
