Basic Function: Provides functional and technical support for the organization's SYSPRO ERP system and related business applications by assisting users, troubleshooting issues, analyzing business processes, and supporting system enhancements that improve operational efficiency across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operation of the ERP system.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP system issues while identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements.
  • Work with users to understand operational requirements.
  • Configure ERP functionality under senior guidance.
  • Assist with testing software updates and new functionality.
  • Document business processes and system procedures.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data analyses to support business decision-making.
  • Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues.
  • Coordinate with software vendors and IT when technical support is required.
  • Participate in ERP implementation and continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop training materials, conduct user training, and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with user security, roles, and permissions
  • Monitor ERP system performance and recommend improvements
  • Maintain ERP documentation and knowledge base
  • Develop and execute test plans for software enhancements
  • Assist with data validation, data imports, and data integrity activities
  • Participate in change management and deployment activities
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual business processes
  • Support integration between ERP and other business applications

Job Scope: Supports the organization's ERP environment by providing functional and technical assistance for business applications used across manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, finance, and customer service. Works under general supervision to analyze business processes, troubleshoot system issues, implement system improvements, and support end users. The position exercises independent judgment in diagnosing problems, recommending solutions, and coordinating with business users, IT staff, and software vendors to improve operational effectiveness.

Work Location & Presence Expectations

  • This position is designated as an on-site role.
  • Regular physical presence at OCC facilities is required to effectively support IT initiatives.
  • While occasional remote work may be approved based on business needs, the primary work location is an OCC facility.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and directly related experience may be considered.

Required Experience:

  • Two to four years of experience supporting enterprise business applications, ERP systems, manufacturing systems, or other complex business software.
  • Experience analyzing business processes and troubleshooting software or data-related issues.
  • Experience working directly with end users to identify requirements and resolve system issues.
  • Experience creating reports, analyzing data, and documenting business processes.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting an ERP platform such as SYSPRO, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or Infor.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Experience using SQL for basic queries and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with inventory, purchasing, production, or finance business processes.

Working Conditions: This is a partially sedentary job which also requires the ability to physically move around the building and navigate the manufacturing floor and equipment. The position requires sight sufficient for computer use and requires an individual with hearing sufficient for extensive, direct and/or telephone communication with management, employees, vendors, customers and suppliers. Additional Compensation Information: The posted pay range reflects the established base salary or hourly wage range for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs. New hires are typically hired below the midpoint of the range. Eligible positions may receive applicable shift differentials, skill premiums, or other forms of additional compensation.



The regular schedule for this position is 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday with some schedule flexibility required
