Description and Requirements Lenovo is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help define and document the serviceability tools architecture of our next generation of AI system platforms. In this role, you will partner with Service Architects, platform design leads, development architects, information development teams, and other engineering stakeholders to create, maintain, and improve the technical requirements and documentation needed to diagnose, service, and repair complex server systems. The successful candidate will combine practical server hardware knowledge with strong requirements development and technical writing skills. This position requires someone who can work through incomplete or ambiguous technical information, identify gaps, and translate complex product details into clear, actionable serviceability requirements and specifications. What You Will Help Deliver Your work will help ensure that Lenovo's next-generation server platforms are designed with serviceability experiences (tools and firmware) built in from the beginning. You will enable service teams, support engineers, technicians, and customers to identify failures accurately, replace the correct component, verify repairs, and return systems to operation as efficiently as possible.
