Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for oversight and management of all activities and shifts in the production cell. They are ultimately responsible through their team for the team's overall performance towards the business unit's goals.

Supervisor Specific Responsibilities:

  • Consciously create and maintain a workplace culture that is consistent with our Mission and values.

  • Lead, mentor and develop employees to consistently meet expectations by growing in character and competence.
  • Utilize available resources to enable employees to plan and achieve their developmental goals while contributing to the ongoing success of TURBOCAM.
  • Manage people, resources and assigned budget (if applicable) to achieve objectives.
  • Understand, comply with, promote, and implement all established and proposed program initiatives including but not limited to: Safety, Quality and Performance Management.

  • In cooperation with other managers, oversee the culture of the shop and business in order to align its practices with its Mission, Vision and Values.
  • Operations:
    • Responsible to plan and execute cell production across all shifts to meet all customer commitments.
    • Responsible for the implementation of operational systems in the cell, and their integration with other processes and systems.
    • Responsible to integrate planning with global partners (if necessary) to ensure global success.
  • Quality:
    • Responsible to deliver parts that meet all customer quality requirements, and reflect the standards of TURBOCAM.
    • Demonstrate continual corrective and preventative action progress in the cell.
  • Finance:
    • Understand the P&L relative to the cell.
    • Responsible to set and deliver to financial goals in the cell including yearly projects for improvement.
    • Develop budgets and capital expenditure plans.
    • Provide reporting and accountability to business leaders.
  • People:
    • Develop and work with leads to accomplish goals on all shifts.
    • Identify, and develop future production cell managers.
  • Engineering:
    • Provide technical oversight to all processes within the cell.
    • Coordinate with the broader engineering team for resourcing projects.
  • Safety:
    • Ultimately responsible for the safety of their employees.
    • Oversee safety program implementation and compliance within business unit.
    • Actively engage in oversight of resolution process for noted safety items.

Bring Your Expertise:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a field related to Business Unit assigned preferred.
  • 3 or more years' experience in engineering and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Have taken or will take TURBOCAM supervisor training within first 3 months in role.
  • Demonstrated leadership and history of meeting internal objectives and customer needs.
  • Strong initiative, problem solving, negotiating, and analytical skills.
  • Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with ERP software (Epicor preferred) and CAD/CAM desired.
  • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.
  • Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 25 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.
