The ACAT Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting account transfer operations by ensuring accurate transaction processing and delivering exceptional client service. This role plays a key part in safeguarding operational integrity while creating value for both the organization and its clients.

The analyst will manage multiple operational functions, including:

• Automated account transfer (ACAT) receives and delivers
• Residual processing
• Mutual fund transfers
• Domestic and foreign settlements
• Transaction reconciliations

The role also requires close collaboration with internal sales teams, counterparties, and vendors while ensuring compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and operational deadlines. The analyst will proactively identify and escalate issues to minimize financial, regulatory, and reputational risk.

• Initiate account transfer requests based on client-signed ACAT instructions while ensuring compliance with industry and system requirements. (Approximately 30% of daily workload)
• Perform reconciliation of incoming wire transfers by reviewing external instructions and coordinating with internal teams to ensure matching instructions are submitted. (Approximately 40% of daily workload)
• Facilitate outbound account transfers by coordinating approvals, notifying internal stakeholders, and completing account termination processes. (Approximately 20% of daily workload)
• Participate in projects involving data analysis to identify workflow improvements, streamline processes, and reduce manual effort. (Approximately 10% of daily workload)
• Reconcile account transfer requests received from counterparties and clients.
• Monitor and oversee residual asset positions following ACAT transfers.
• Prepare and pre-populate ACAT transfer documentation.
• Support both domestic and international settlement activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Deliver high-quality client service while maintaining compliance and mitigating operational risk.

• 1-2 years of operations experience.
• Experience with ACATs and settlement operations is preferred but not required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC/web-based applications.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
