Business Development Manager

Title: Business Development Manager & Strategic Account Manager
Location: Greater Los Angeles Area (Field Based)
Schedule: Full Time
Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 Annual Base Salary

Summary:
We're partnering with a growing organization seeking a relationship driven Business Development Manager to expand its presence throughout the Greater Los Angeles market. This role is focused on developing long term partnerships with commercial organizations, including manufacturing facilities, corporate campuses, universities, municipalities, distribution centers, and other large commercial properties. Rather than handling proposals, pricing, or contract negotiations, you'll serve as the face of the organization, building trust with clients while an experienced internal team manages the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow relationships with commercial property owners, facility managers, operations leaders, and other key decision makers throughout your territory.
• Meet with prospective and existing clients to better understand their business needs and identify future opportunities
• Represent the organization at industry associations, networking events, and customer meetings
• Strengthen relationships with key existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities
• Partner closely with the internal sales team, who will manage proposals, pricing, contracts, and closing activities
• Manage your own territory, calendar, and business development strategy while working independently in the field

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Business Development, Outside Sales, or Relationship Management experience
• Proven success building long term B2B client relationships
• Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills
• Self motivated professional who thrives in an autonomous, field based environment
• Established professional network within the Greater Los Angeles market is highly preferred
• Experience working with commercial facilities, property management, facility services, janitorial, building services, HVAC, construction, or other B2B service industries is a plus, but industry experience is not required

Compensations & Benefits

• $130,000 - $150,000 annual base salary
