Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, Previous experience in food service preferred, but not required, Ability to work a flexible schedule. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds.

Pay Rate/Range: $23.52/hr.

Compensation/Benefits: An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year.

Deadline: 6/30/2027 -- EOE (7/21/2026) Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check and a required pre-work screening.

Job Summary:
The Substitute Child Nutrition Associate will perform a variety of duties to assist in the set up and serving of food and cleaning and sanitation of the child nutrition operation.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with food preparation, including cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Serve food to students and staff, ensuring that proper portions are given and that food is served at the correct temperature
• Clean and sanitize the cafeteria, including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and washing dishes
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including wearing gloves and hairnets when required
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude when interacting with students, staff, and parents
• Other duties as assigned by the cafeteria manager or school administration
