Location: Raymond, OH

Pay: $36.00 - $40.30 per hour

We are seeking an Automotive Test Technician to support vehicle testing, validation, and development activities in a fast-paced automotive environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical skills, hands-on testing experience, and a passion for automotive technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle, chassis dynamometer (dyno), and component testing.
• Install and maintain test equipment, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Collect, monitor, and analyze test data to support engineering and development programs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and test system issues.
• Document test results and communicate findings to engineering teams.
• Support prototype vehicle testing, validation activities, and performance evaluations.
• Follow all safety, quality, and testing procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive testing, vehicle validation, dyno operations, R&D, prototype development, or related technical roles.
• Strong automotive mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with data acquisition and test systems.
• Dyno experience preferred.
• Background in electrical systems, instrumentation, or diagnostics is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible and adaptable in a changing test environment.

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, and stooping.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicles.
