The Post-Fab Product Realization department (05236) is seeking an experienced and motivated Product Engineer with expertise to join our team working on the development, production, and delivery of semiconductor integrated circuit products. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for contributing as part of a team and leading efforts to deliver products for mission critical applications. In this role, you will partner with a diverse team of subject matter experts to: establish and maintain product definitions, define test requirements and processes, analyze and improve yields, track development and production progress, and pursue failure analysis to assure all product requirements are met. You will perform a diverse set of complex assignments requiring multi-disciplinary thinking, close teamwork, flexibility, and versatility. Having a desire to learn and develop your own skills will be crucial and beneficial as you join a fun and motivated team to accomplish missions relevant to Sandia and to our nation. Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite. Salary Range

About Our Team
The Post-Fab Product Realization department is responsible for development and stewardship of robust systems that deliver microelectronics for national security applications. The technology portfolio includes process development and high-rigor production for ceramic packaging and plastic ball grid array packaging for Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICS) as well as Read-Out Integrated Circuits (RIOC). The organization is part of the Post Fab Technologies Group within Sandia's Microsystems Engineering, Science, and Applications Center (MESA) and partners closely with the Integrated Circuit design, fabrication, and Advanced Packaging/Integration department to establish capabilities that meet the unique requirements of our national security customers.
