Position Title: Assistant Baseball Coach Job Category: Limited Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Assistant Coach Job Duties: Under the direction of the Head Coach and in accordance with all NCAA, Conference, State and Institutional rules and regulations this position will assist the head coach in all phases of a Division I Baseball program. Duties will include teaching the technical aspects of the sport, developing student-athletes athletically, assist with recruitment of prospective student-athletes including but not limited to engaging in official and unofficial visits, electronic and phone correspondence with prospective student-athletes, and traveling to competitions where prospects are competing. This position will assist the head coach and the academic staff in monitoring the student-athletes academic progress and support the head coach with administrative responsibilities. This individual must know, recognize and comply with the laws, policies, rules and regulations governing University and its employees, and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association ("NCAA") and the applicable Conference, as now constituted or as they may be amended during the Term of employment.
