We are seeking a meticulous and empathetic individual to join our patient access team, where you will be instrumental in ensuring every patient's initial interaction is seamless, supportive, and efficient. Your expertise in navigating the registration process will directly enhance patient experience, optimize operational workflows, and contribute significantly to the overall success of our healthcare services, making a tangible difference in people's lives from day one.

What You'll Do



  • Navigate and complete the patient admission/registration process, adhering strictly to regulatory mandates and internal policies.
  • Accurately gather and manage essential patient demographic information.
  • Verify insurance details and patient eligibility using advanced online systems and direct payer websites.
  • Ensure all necessary legal and medical documents are properly signed and secured.
  • Process financial transactions, including collecting co-pays and deductibles, and documenting deposits.
  • Digitally manage patient records by scanning all documentation into our electronic system by shift end.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency during peak periods, ensuring quality registrations.
  • Strategically prioritize tasks to enhance customer service, optimize operational workflows, and bolster financial accuracy.
  • Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with clinical teams and colleagues to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow by promptly providing clinical staff with essential patient materials and updating notifications.
  • Deliver empathetic, timely, and professional customer service, managing visitor authorizations and distributing privacy notices in compliance with regulations.
  • Demonstrate a solution-oriented approach, especially during challenging situations, and proactively manage system downtime procedures.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to type 30 WPM and navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong, empathetic customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to produce high-quality work with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to work at both stationary and mobile workstations (requiring sitting and standing) and collaborate effectively with a culturally diverse staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate initial training and ongoing shift schedules.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Associate Degree (AA).
  • Bilingual skills.
