Location: Hybrid (at least 3 days per week in our NYC, Denver, or Charlotte offices)

Position Summary:

The Senior Director, Total Rewards is responsible for leading the strategy, design, governance, and administration of Judi Health's compensation, benefits, and wellness programs. This role serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, ensuring total rewards programs support the organization's growth objectives, talent strategy, and employee experience while maintaining compliance and market competitiveness. The Senior Director partners closely with business leaders to develop innovative and data-driven compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Position Responsibilities:



  • Develop and lead the organization's comprehensive total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, wellness, recognition, and retirement programs.
  • Partner with the Chief Human Resources Officer and executive leadership team to ensure total rewards programs align with business objectives, workforce needs, and organizational growth plans.
  • Design, evaluate, and continuously enhance compensation structures, salary administration practices, incentive programs, and job architecture frameworks to maintain market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Lead the annual compensation planning process, including merit, bonus, promotional, and market adjustment cycles.
  • Oversee the organization's health and welfare, retirement, and wellbeing programs, ensuring an exceptional employee experience while managing costs and plan effectiveness.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive benchmarks, and workforce data to inform compensation and benefits strategies and recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain compensation governance processes, including job evaluation methodologies, pay transparency practices, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide expert consultation to executives, managers, and HR team members regarding compensation decisions, job classifications, pay equity, and benefits-related matters.
  • Manage relationships with benefits consultants, brokers, carriers, survey providers, and other total rewards vendors, ensuring service excellence and value optimization.
  • Lead annual open enrollment strategy, communications, and execution while driving employee understanding and engagement with benefits offerings.
  • Develop and manage total rewards budgets, forecasts, and cost-containment strategies while balancing employee experience and financial stewardship.
  • Support organizational transactions, due diligence activities, and workforce integration planning related to compensation and benefits programs.
  • Utilize workforce analytics and insights to measure program effectiveness and identify opportunities to enhance attraction, retention, engagement, and performance outcomes.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to ensure total rewards programs are scalable, compliant, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Partner with the Judi Care leadership team to provide benefits strategy, plan design expertise, and operational insights that inform product development, client solutions, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Translate emerging industry trends, regulatory developments, and employer challenges into actionable recommendations that strengthen Judi Health's product offerings and competitive position


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive compensation and benefits leadership experience, including ownership of enterprise-wide total rewards programs.
  • Deep expertise in compensation strategy, benefits plan design, pay equity, market pricing, incentive programs, and total rewards governance.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations related to compensation and employee benefits.
  • Demonstrated experience leading annual compensation cycles and benefits program administration for a growing organization.
  • Proven ability to influence executives and business leaders through data-driven recommendations and strategic partnership.
  • Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and vendor management experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business recommendations Experience leveraging workforce analytics and market intelligence to drive strategic decision-making.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree (MBA or related discipline).
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting a high-growth healthcare, technology, or regulated industry organization.
  • Experience leading pay transparency, compensation modernization, or total rewards transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with M&A due diligence and integration activities related to employee compensation and benefits programs.

$220,000 $250,000 USD
Denver, CO Salary Range
$210,000 $240,000 USD
Charlotte, NC Salary Range
$190,000 $230,000 USD
