Description Job Title: Vice President, Data & Analytics Location: Anaheim CA Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire with Comprehensive Benefits Industry: Financial Services Compensation: $250,000 - $300,000 Schedule: Hybrid - in office 2 days a week, 3 days working remote About the Opportunity Acara Solutions is seeking a Vice President of Data & Analytics to lead enterprise data strategy, analytics, and business intelligence for a growing financial institution. This executive leadership role will define the organization's data roadmap, establish strong governance practices, and deliver analytics capabilities that drive strategic decision-making, operational excellence, and business growth. The VP will partner closely with executive leadership while building a scalable data foundation and advancing analytics and AI initiatives. What You'll Do Develop and execute the enterprise data and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives. Lead enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and analytics initiatives that provide actionable insights. Establish and oversee data governance, data quality, security, and stewardship programs. Partner with IT, Information Security, Risk, and business leaders to build modern, scalable data platforms. Drive adoption of advanced analytics and responsible AI to improve business performance and member experience. Oversee data platforms, analytics tools, and third-party vendor relationships. Develop KPIs and success metrics to measure business value and continuous improvement. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing data and analytics team. Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and data privacy standards. Job Requirements What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree required (quantitative discipline preferred). 8 years minimum experience of progressive experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, or related disciplines. 4 years minimum experience of leadership experience managing technical teams. What Sets You Apart Experience within financial services, banking, credit unions, or other highly regulated industries. Experience leading enterprise data strategy, reporting, and analytics programs. Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, cloud data platforms, and modern analytics architectures. Experience implementing data governance, data quality, and security frameworks. Knowledge of regulatory requirements including GLBA, CCPA, and FFIEC. Experience managing technology vendors and implementing enterprise data platforms. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, and modern data engineering practices. Experience leveraging generative AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to improve business processes. Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
