The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) facilitates faculty career success and growth through professional development activities, mentorship and leadership training for faculty in the School of Medicine, Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health, and Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. OFA analyzes faculty data to develop evidence-based effective programming and initiatives to enhance success, recruitment, and retention of faculty at all career stages. The Faculty Affairs Administrative Coordinator facilitates faculty development programs sponsored by the Office of Faculty Affairs. Under the direction of the Senior Assistant Vice Chancellor and Director of Faculty Affairs, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the faculty development programs and initiatives of the Office as needs arise. Provides high level administrative support to the Senior Assistant Vice Chancellor for Faculty Affairs and the Director of Faculty Affairs, ensures the daily administrative operations run smoothly for the executives' office. This requires tact, diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality on a wide variety of complex and highly sensitive issues. Applies professional concepts to conduct studies or projects of moderate scope and complexity to address a variety of policy, research and procedural issues. Fully analyzes issues and problems, gathers data and information, finds and evaluates alternatives and makes sound recommendations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
