Overview
At Microsoft, we are committed to empowering every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. The Microsoft Defender team plays a critical role in this mission by delivering industry-leading threat protection solutions that help organizations defend against today's most sophisticated cyber threats. We are looking for a technically curious and execution-focused Product Marketing Manager - Microsoft Defender (SOC). This role is an opportunity to shape how we position and bring to market our comprehensive threat protection capabilities, working across a dynamic and collaborative team. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role for someone who thrives on diving deep into product strategy and technical innovation. You'll work closely with product management to understand how Defender works under the hood-then translate that depth into clear, differentiated messaging that resonates with security decision-makers and practitioners. Responsibilities * Define and execute go-to-market strategies for Microsoft Defender, including launch planning, messaging, and cross-functional coordination. * Partner closely with product management to deeply understand product capabilities, roadmap, and technical differentiators. * Translate complex technical concepts into compelling, customer-facing narratives that clearly communicate Defender's value in the threat protection landscape. * Develop high-impact content such as customer presentations, blogs, videos, and sales tools to support demand generation and field enablement. * Collaborate with sales, partner, and customer success teams to deliver training, enablement materials, and competitive insights that drive adoption and engagement. * Serve as a subject matter expert on customer needs, use cases, and market trends in threat protection. * Leverage AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to streamline content creation, campaign execution, and stakeholder collaboration.
