Job Description: Location: Fargo Corporate Office Location Type: On-Site/Hybrid The Senior Treasury and Business Operations Specialist coordinates, communicates, and trains on all products, services, and updates related to Business Deposit Accounts, Business Online Banking, and Treasury Management Operations. Collaboration is required between this position and Treasury Management Sales, Retail Offices, Digital Banking, Business Banking, and Deposit and Card Servicing regardingoperation, use and on-going education of Treasury Management and Business Deposit products, services, and systems. This role serves as subject matter expert and functional owner withing Treasury Management and Business Deposit Operations. The primary focus of this role is ownership of standards, training, and functional excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Drives innovation and excellence through the promotion, use and implementation of business products and services that best fit the principals of high standards at Gate City Bank.
- Serves as subject matter expert and functional owner within Treasury Management and Business Deposit Operations.
- Serves as a final escalation resource for complex customer and operational issues requiring advanced research and resolution.
- Performs Treasury Management and Business Deposit service implementation setup, maintenance, and verification tasks, from routine to the most complex, accurately, within established SLAs, and in accordance with established policies, and procedures.
- Lead the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, forms, and letters regarding business deposit accounts, online banking, business and Treasury Management services and products.
- Applies, maintains, and shares knowledge of business accounts, non-insured products, Treasury Management services and products, and Business Online Banking.
- Responsible for reviewing daily reports related to set up and processing limits on ACH, RDC, wires, and Business Online Banking in order to mitigate risk to prevent fraudulent activity.
- Assist with reviews and audits of business products and provide operational reporting, including reporting discrepancies and providing recommendations to Treasury Management and Business Deposit Operations Supervisor.
- Demonstrates accuracy, compliance adherence, strong customer service, and the ability to perform duties independently.
- Lead the development and maintenance of training documents, materials, and presentations.
- Lead training of new team members and refresher training for existing team members on Business and Treasury Management products and services and system functionality. Works closely with the Deposit and Card Servicing Trainer and Business Banking, to develop training.
- Co-Lead Treasury Management and Business Deposit Operations system releases and enhancements, including comprehension of release documentation, defining and executing testing requirements to ensure system integrity and alignment with business requirements.
- Responsible for routine quality assurance checks to validate the integrity of Treasury Management and Business Deposit Operations processes.
- Co-Lead Treasury Management and Business Operations projects to implement new and maintain existing Treasury Management and Business Deposit products and services.
- Identify operational risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate potential issues impacting Treasury Management and Business Operations.
- Utilizes support questions as an opportunity to coach and train team members on policies, procedures, and operational practices.
- Collaborates with department-related systems vendors to ensure accurate processing and timely resolution of system or process issues.
- Evaluates vendor feedback and operational performance to recommend and support enhancements that improve efficiencies and strengthen Treasury Management and Business Deposit products and services.
- Drive process, system, product, and service improvements and efficiency.
- Identity and mitigate operational risks.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; 5 or more years previous related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Interpret and use data for decision making.
