Coastal Harbor Health Systems is currently seeking qualified Full-time Therapists to join our Children's Residential inpatient treatment facility:

Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 114-bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short- and long-term inpatient care, and a 50 bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. We offer compassionate patient care to those who need it the most, serving not only local patients, but also those located across the country. Our hospitals are conveniently located in beautiful, historic Savannah, GA in a quiet setting that provides unparalleled anonymity and privacy, enabling patients to concentrate on treatment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assess and counsel residents regarding psychological or emotional problems and develop and implement therapeutic treatment plan by performing the following duties.
  • Develop, implement, and administer therapeutic treatment plan by performing psychosocial assessments and compile all pertinent documents tofacilitate treatment plan.
  • Participate in treatment team sessions with completion of all monthly treatment plan reviews. Observe patients for abnormal
  • physical or mental behavior and monitor progress with components of treatment plan.
  • Conduct and document individual and group therapy sessions according to treatment plans.Contact and schedule counseling sessions with family, significant others, and involved agencies. Arrange for family visits off and on facility sites
  • .Act as liaison with family and other agencies to reunify patient with family and reintegrate back into community. Perform daily tasks of counseling by instructing patients in progress charting.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree Required in Psychology,Social Work,or Mental Health Counseling
  • Licensed or Licensed eligible
  • One to two years related experience and/or training preferred
