Position Summary: Provides leadership and task direction to nonexempt production team members in support of team safety, quality, production, and problem-solving issues while insuring that customer expectations are met. Warn Industries is a fully committed team-based organization. The Production Supervisor must be a leader and a coach. Production Supervisor is accountable to Director of Manufacturing Operations for production team performance and s/he must accomplish team objectives through team leadership and development. Language Skills: Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence at a high level in the English language. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other team members. Advanced conflict resolution skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills. Mathematical Skills: Must have mathematical skills to perform basic business math and industrial statistics. Higher skills may be required depending on actual job duties.
Physical and Visual Activities: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Lifting, Carrying, Balancing, Stooping, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Acuity-Far, Acuity-Near, Depth Perception, and Field of Vision. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, bend, or twist. He/she will frequently push and pull items repetitively. The team member continuously uses hand strength to repetitively grasp and use fine manipulation and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds while performing the duties of this job. Environment/Atmospheric Conditions: Must be able to work in a shop environment as well as a usual office environment. May be exposed to loud operating machinery, cold/hot temperatures, chemicals, and vapors. Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software: Personal computer, fax machine, copy machine, other office equipment, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint. May operate shop equipment such as assembly presses, manual and CNC machines, basic hand tools.
