As a Security Patrol Officer for Outdoor Mall in Manhattan Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with post orders and location guidelines.
• Support opening and closing activities, assist with crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, and provide directions and general assistance to the public within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
