MaineHealth is seeking a compassionate, skilled Per Diem Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse to join our exceptional Wound Care team! This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a specialized field where your expertise directly improves patients' quality of life through advanced wound and ostomy care. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a weekday, 8hr - day-shift schedule while providing care at our Biddeford and Sanford wound care locations.

While our ideal nurses will have a WOCN board certification and a BSN, we welcome experienced wound care nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Wound Ostomy Care - Outpatient role serves as a wound, ostomy and continence care provider. This role provides education and consultation to meet the complex needs of wound, ostomy and continence patients and their families.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. WOCN Board Certification preferred.
  3. Experience: Three years of recent acute care clinical nursing experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
