Wagner is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support our Accounting team during a temporary assignment from September through January. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts payable or general accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

As an Accounts Payable Associate, you'll play an important role in ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time by:

• Processing vendor invoices and matching them to purchase orders

• Coding invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts

• Preparing weekly check runs and electronic payments

• Reconciling accounts payable transactions

• Resolving vendor questions and payment issues professionally

• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities

• Supporting audits and maintaining organized financial records

• Collaborating with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Accounting to ensure timely invoice processing

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience

• Strong Microsoft Office skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

• Professional communication and customer service skills
