Role Overview: The Senior Research Librarian is responsible for providing research and reference services involving business, legal and specialized information sources to consulting and administrative staff for billable casework. The individual must be skilled in using a variety of databases and research tools. How You'll Help Our Team Succeed:
What You'll Need to Be Successful: * 6+ years of directly related experience from a similar role, preferably at a law firm or professional services firm. * Advanced knowledge of financial and economic databases including but not limited to CapIQ, LSEG Workspace, and Bloomberg, and legal databases such as Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, Lexis and Lex Machina. * Advanced knowledge of MS Office required. * Advanced knowledge of reference sources in business and legal areas. * Significant experience in a corporate library setting and advanced knowledge and skills in a subject-specific resources and databases. * Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. * Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and strategic partners. * Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and be able to respond expediently to requests. * Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently and exhibit initiative to solve problems. * Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) is required, however, a Master's degree in another specialty may be considered in lieu of the MLS if the candidate also has significant research experience in a related industry. * Willingness to work additional hours as required on short notice. Compensation Base Salary Range: Boston: $93,300.00 - $125,800.00 New York: $95,300.00 - $128,500.00 Washington, DC: $91,400.00 - $123,300.00
Annual Performance Bonus: This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus with a target of 12.5%.
