Consultant (multiple positions available)

Reports to company headquarters in Irving, TX.

Create and execute performance test scripts using tools such as: HP LoadRunner/ Performance Center; NeoLoad and Jmeter; and Protocols: Web HTTP/HTML, Web Services, Java VUser.

Create workload models and conduct load, stress, endurance, base line, benchmark, failover, spike, destructive, and smoke tests to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability.

Create automation scripts using Rest Assured and execution using Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines created via Jenkins and GitHub.

Document test results to be presented for Go/No-Go decision-making purposes.

Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks by working closely with developers and system engineers to remediate findings.

Analyze data based on real world scenarios, production such as monitoring systems, applications and database using various tools AppDynmics, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana with custom dashboards.

Generate performance graphs, reports, and related documentation for validation and performance analysis.

Report vital statistics of application performance in Prod/Non-Prod.

Make recommendations for improvements to the product development teams. Make recommendations for adjustments to runtime resources to improve overall performance profile.

Support Software Quality Assurance process and procedures to build a high-quality application.

Translate business requirements into technical requirements.

Attend daily stand up and work through Sprint assignments.

May be assigned to and provide products/ support to specific industry groups such as Retail & Logistics, Automotive, Banking and Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, and Information Technology.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.

Five (5) years of experience in any occupation with IT experience, or related. Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Performance Testing; Performance Engineering; AppDynamics; Pivotal Tracker, or related; PowerShell Scripting or Linux Shell Scripting; and SQL.

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in , TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

SALARY: $141,336 - $142,336
