Summary:

The Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for all points of data mining, extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting. Accountable for developing and reporting daily, weekly and monthly analysis of key performance indicators related to warehouse operational metrics. This position requires an extremely detailed, timely, consistent and accurate approach to reporting. Reporting can also be used to set the priorities throughout the operations, ensuring that key issues are addressed. Daily/weekly briefings and communications are needed to ensure consistent information is shared throughout the operations. This position is a task-oriented role, requiring very good organizational skills and follow through. The position requires interaction with a broad number of employees to validate data and collaborate on discrepancies found. This position is a key role in the critical analysis of costs associated with the logistics warehouse and transportation operations & cost. This position is also responsible for supporting improvement opportunities throughout the organization, for monitoring discrepancies and escalating to appropriate parties.

Responsibilities:

* Data & business analysis

* Data mining & extraction from multiple sources to build reports

* Daily, weekly, monthly report generation

* Report automation & design

* Maintaining existing dashboards; weekly & monthly analysis and reporting

* Help drive critical business decisions by in depth analysis; provide recommendations based on findings

* Develop models that help with decision-making

* Identify opportunities for performance improvement

* Publish standard and complex ad-hoc reports with varying detail for different audiences

* Analyzes performance of process activities, identifies problem areas, and presents findings in clear, concise charts, graphs, tables, or summaries.

* Establishes standardized methods of recording, tracking and reporting on activity.

* Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.

* Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

* Minimum 3 years of experience in reports and data analysis within logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments

* Experience in cost analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators

* High proficiency in MS Excel (40%), SQL (35%), Access, BI Tools, and PowerPoint (25%) is required

* Experience in a logistics, warehouse, and/or supply chain (operations) environment is required

* Experience with SAP is required

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field

* Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects

* Strong data mining skills and experience extracting & manipulating data from multiple sources

* Critical thinking skills - analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving

* Excellent attention to detail

* Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment

* Strong verbal and written communications skills

* Ability to employ effective time management skills

* Independently follow and execute work assignments

* Must be able to work without supervision; self-starter

* Ability to interact with all levels of management including executives
