The Opportunity

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator to enable the safe, effective, and well-coordinated execution of mechanical maintenance activities across the NGTL system.

In this role, you will support Area teams and rotating fleet project teams by validating outage execution plans, coordinating field activities, forecasting resource requirements, and ensuring clear communication across stakeholders. You will play a key role in driving reliable maintenance delivery, optimizing outage execution planning, and supporting workforce development while fostering a culture of collaboration, hazard awareness, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution tracking of mechanical maintenance across NGTL
  • Collaborate with Area technicians and leaders, OMS, Safety, Commercial Operations, and Work Management to ensure work is properly scoped, resourced, scheduled, and communicated
  • Develop, validate, and optimize outage execution schedules and plans
  • Manage and maintain a centralized mechanical "pencil" schedule
  • Forecast resource requirements and support workforce and outage planning
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure alignment across field teams and internal partners
  • Monitor work progress, identify risks and variances, and support timely resolution
  • Track performance and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure safe work practices and promote hazard awareness across all activities
  • Support documentation and reporting related to maintenance and outage execution
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2-3-year technical diploma or equivalent field experience
  • 8+ years of experience in construction, operations, maintenance, or work planning

  • Solid understanding of mechanical work planning and execution
  • Ability to develop and optimize resource and cost estimates
  • Knowledge of process safety fundamentals and Management of Change (MOC) requirements
  • Strong understanding of outage coordination processes
  • Ability to forecast resource needs and analyze performance data
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal partner teams and field leadership
  • Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance and outage coordination processes
  • Experience with work planning, scheduling, and execution tracking
