- 10+ years of CAPPS production support
- 10+ years of Tier-2 support experience
- 10+ years handling Major Incident Management (P1/P2)
- 10+ years of executive-level presentations
- 10+ years of Disaster Recovery participation

Overall assessment: This is an extremely niche Texas public-sector PeopleSoft Payroll role. A candidate without direct CAPPS HR/Payroll experience and substantial Texas state government ERP experience would have a very difficult time meeting the mandatory qualifications. The closest fit would be a long-term CAPPS Payroll Functional Lead, Senior PeopleSoft HCM Payroll Consultant, or former Texas Comptroller CAPPS analyst with statewide payroll support experience.
