Employment Duration: 6 months The Surgery Scheduler serves as a key member of the PREPARE team and is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and managing preoperative appointments for patients undergoing surgical and procedural care. The Surgery Scheduler ensures patients are scheduled in a timely manner, supports perioperative workflows, provides excellent customer service, and collaborates closely with surgical clinics, anesthesia providers, nurses, advanced practice providers, and administrative staff to promote safe and efficient patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule PREPARE appointments using established clinical guidelines and scheduling protocols.
- Coordinate phone consultations, in-person visits, RN Teach appointments, and specialty referrals as needed.
- Reschedule, cancel, and modify appointments while maintaining clinic efficiency and access.
- Coordinate communication with internal departments and external entities related to patient care.
- Monitor waitlists and prioritize urgent, add-on, and time-sensitive cases.

- Proficiency with electronic scheduling systems and standard office software.
