The University of Virginia's Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging seeks a strategic, analytical, and collaborative leader to serve as Director of Quality Assurance & Clinical Projects. This role provides oversight of quality assurance initiatives and clinical operational projects that promote excellence in patient care, patient safety, and process improvement across the Department and Medical Center. The Director partners closely with the Vice Chair of Quality, Vice Chair of Clinical Operations, Medical Directors, Division Chiefs, Associate Chief of Medical Imaging, and other leaders to advance high-impact initiatives. Responsibilities include leading quality assurance programs, overseeing complex project portfolios, supporting clinical operations improvement efforts, and delivering data-driven best practices that inform decision-making and optimize outcomes. The Director also ensures alignment with regulatory and compliance standards, strengthens quality infrastructure, and advances continuous improvement efforts across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring leadership has the strategic and operational support needed to successfully implement key initiatives and enhance systems, processes, and patient care delivery. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate specialty required. Experience: 4+ years of relevant professional experience required. Preferred Qualifications
