Medical Receptionist (Contract) - Eye Clinic Location: St. Paul, MN Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $21/hour Duration: 3-month contract (potential for extension or conversion, not guaranteed) Overview We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to support a busy eye clinic environment seeing 50-100 patients per day. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Strong customer service skills and prior Epic experience are required. Key Responsibilities * Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner * Answer high-volume inbound phone calls * Schedule follow-up appointments efficiently * Manage administrative task queues, including: * Insurance verification * Referral processing and tracking * Support clinic workflow to ensure a smooth patient experience Required Qualifications * Prior experience using Epic (EMR system) * Strong customer service experience in a professional setting * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Training & Onboarding * 2-day Epic-focused online training * Structured onboarding with training binder and shadowing support Work Environment * High-volume clinic (50-100 patients daily) * Team-oriented environment supporting patient care delivery * Opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting #centralpriority26 Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
