Description Job Title: Junior Electronic Engineer Location: Irvine, CA Employment Type: Direct Hire Industry: Industrial technology/security automation Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 /year. Schedule: 40 hrs/Week. About the Opportunity: Circuit design, firmware design, layout design, and software design. Provide general support to the engineering department, including electronic assembly and troubleshooting. Support the group by owning and assisting in the activities related to the Product Development Process and other processes in the organization. Improve and define tools and techniques to support fabrication, test, and verification of existing and new products. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Develop and execute unit tests, build verification test plans, and track and report test status. Identify risks, suggest mitigation, track defects, develop resolutions, and report status. Investigate field product issues or issues during product development. Document the work completed with the goal of both maintaining records and educating newcomers and the broader organization. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 2+ years of experience in engineering supporting product development and sustaining engineering activities through successful production implementation. 2+ years of experience in microcontroller-based systems, including design support, testing, troubleshooting, or integration. Mindset to investigate and resolve all product-related issues, from conception to production, including aspects outside the electronic realm.
