MRA - The Management Association is seeking an interim HR Business Partner to join our team for approximately seven (7) months to serve a Milwaukee-area member organization in need of full-time, hybrid support.

This is an exciting opportunity to serve a fantastic organization while two team members are on maternity leave starting in late summer through early spring.

Essential Functions:


  • Partner with leaders to drive talent development, employee growth, and continuous learning initiatives across the organization.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee development, performance management, goal setting, and career planning.
  • Support employee relations by serving as a trusted resource on HR policies, workplace concerns, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Recruiting team to support recruitment, interviewing, candidate selection, and onboarding activities.
  • Coach leaders on effective hiring, onboarding, and team integration practices to promote employee success.
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner and escalation point for employee and leader questions related to workplace policies, benefits, compensation, performance, and development.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, provide insights, and support business and people-related decision-making.
  • Oversee and provide leadership to HR team members across multiple facilities.
  • Maintain accurate billable service records and complete semi-monthly time and activity reporting.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent education, experience, and certification.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of HR experience, including multi-state manufacturing operations.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software.
  • Proficiency with multiple HRIS systems.
  • The ability to travel to member company in Milwaukee at least three days a week.
