Lending Sales Specialist

The Lending Sales Specialist position rewards individuals with a generous sales incentive for loan production, introductory rate and bilingual pay differential. The Lending Sales Specialist is a sales-focused role responsible for assisting members with credit applications over the phone, maximizing lending opportunities, and delivering personalized financial solutions. This position builds strong member relationships by evaluating individual needs, thinking independently, and providing tailored recommendations rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. The specialist manages the lending process from application through closing to ensure efficiency and high funding rates, while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and services to effectively cross-sell and support member goals. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency with technology, and a commitment to exceptional member service, teamwork, and adherence to policies and procedures.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum one (1) year of sales experience required. Lending experience within a financial institution is preferred.
