Hearth & Home Technologies is seeking an Assembly Technician for our Stellar Hearth Products by Heat & Glo team in Lakeville, MN.

Position Details

  • Starting Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Shift Details: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (OT as needed on Friday)
  • Full Time / Direct Hire

Assembly Technician - Key Responsibilities

  • Build standard and custom fireplace products using various pieces of hand tools and equipment
  • Operate a mechanical hoist, forklift, pallet jacks, and pneumatic tools when necessary
  • Ensure product and process meet Quality, Delivery, Cost and Safety expectations
  • Work as a team to ensure schedule is met daily and help to provide supportive training when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace by completing all required 5S tasks (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on your feet throughout the shift
  • Strong hand and finger dexterity for hands on production work
  • Commitment to wearing proper PPE and following safe work practices
  • Willingness to be cross trained and jump between tasks as needed
  • Openness to learning and applying Lean manufacturing principles
  • A self starter mindset with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
