Job Description

Die Set-Up Operator (3rd Shift) - Eastlake Facility
Location: Eastlake Facility
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Paid Lunch)
Training: 1st Shift (2-4 weeks)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Die Set-Up Operator to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for assembling, preparing, inspecting, and staging components used in injection and tooling processes. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and consistency are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and prepare components following FR and QEI/PEI work instructions
  • Maintain 6S workplace organization and cleanliness standards
  • Restock, organize, and manage inventory areas
  • Transport carts and materials between setup and injection areas
  • Stage completed assemblies for production readiness
  • Inspect components for quality, remove flash, and identify defects
  • Perform minor repairs on wax defects
  • Scrap nonconforming parts and ensure only approved components are used
  • Follow AQCS work instructions and all safety protocols
  • Complete accurate timekeeping, production, and inventory documentation
Core Responsibility

Prepare, assemble, inspect, and repair components to ensure production readiness while maintaining safety, quality, efficiency, and material flow.

Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically able to remain active throughout the entire shift
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport materials and carts
  • Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members
  • Dependable attendance for overnight/3rd shift schedule

  • High attention to detail for inspection and quality assurance
