Summary: Our client's Services Marketing team brings world-class digital services to life through thoughtful storytelling, partnerships, and creative execution across global platforms. The team works cross-functionally across multiple lines of business (including music, sports, books, podcasts, and more) to support campaigns that deeply connect with audiences through culture, creators, and social content.

As a Social Creator Strategist, you will move away from traditional project management to focus purely on the strategic and creative side of partnerships. You will collaborate with the strategic planning team to translate business objectives, KPIs, and budgets into long-term, high-impact creator programs. This role requires a culturally dialed-in strategist who can flex into diverse interest groups and bring a well-rounded perspective to multidisciplinary campaigns.

Note: This is a strategy, content, and partnerships role. Candidates whose experience is primarily rooted in account management, operations, or pure project management will not be a fit for this specific position.

Description

In this role, you will partner closely with creators, supporting agencies, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute creator-driven social content. Your work will focus heavily on paid, campaign-based initiatives, platform-native storytelling, and building scalable, year-long social programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Program Architecture: Partner with strategic planning teams to build comprehensive content strategies, define campaign scopes, and deliver on business objectives and KPIs.
  • Strategic Casting: Identify and source talent, definition-expanding "creators" (including individual influencers, publisher partners, and community event entities) that align with specific campaign goals.
  • End-to-End Campaign Strategy: Lead creator-driven social campaigns from concept through execution, providing clear creative briefs and directing content deliverables.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams such as marketing, communications, editorial, and product to align social content with broader priorities.
  • Agency & Stakeholder Navigation: Work alongside a supporting agency (which handles logistics, contracting, legal clearance, and direct creator communications) while maintaining the ability to interface directly with talent and agents when needed.
  • Performance & Presentation: Evaluate campaign performance using analytics and insights to inform future strategy, and confidently present strategic concepts to cross-functional teams and executives.
  • Trend & Cultural Immersion: Monitor social and cultural trends across various disciplines (sports, music, tech, culture) to create equitable opportunities that benefit both the brand and the creator community.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience specializing in content strategy, influencer marketing, and creative partnerships within digital social media environments.
  • Proven experience developing and executing fully compensated/paid creator campaigns with large budgets attached to a business's bottom line.
  • Demonstrated experience building content strategy, managing creative briefs, and overseeing content deliverables for long-term programs.
  • Strong background navigating complex matrixed environments and managing communication across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency or Platform Background: Prior experience working within a fast-paced creative agency or a major social platform (e.g., Meta, TikTok) managing client demands and paid brand activations.
  • Multi-Discipline Flex: A broad interest in culture, sports, music, and digital trends, with the ability to build well-rounded strategies rather than being pigeonholed into one niche.
  • Experience working with a diverse spectrum of external talent, from individual creators and talent agents to third-party publishers and community organizations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with comfort delivering strategic vision to cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
