Job Description

The Engagement Coordinator plays a central role in advancing donor engagement across Health Systems - Medicine Advancement. Working closely with the Sr. Manager of Health Care Donor Engagement, the Sr. Manager of Health Advancement Events, relationship managers, and advancement leadership, this role helps translate engagement strategies into coordinated donor experiences, materials, and events.

The Engagement Coordinator serves as the operational hub connecting fundraising, communications, data, and events. This role ensures engagement initiatives are executed effectively while maintaining a strong focus on donor experience, organizational priorities, and measurable outcomes.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytically minded, and comfortable working at the intersection of data, communication, and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement Planning & Donor Outreach Support
* Collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Health Care Donor Engagement and relationship managers to support the execution of donor engagement strategies.
* Produce one-pagers, briefing materials, and donor-facing content that translate clinical and research priorities into clear engagement opportunities.
* Assist in preparing materials for donor visits, leadership briefings, and strategic engagement opportunities.

Event Coordination
* Assists with the coordination of donor-focused engagements, including leadership briefings, hospital tours, recognition events, and strategic gatherings.
* Manage event logistics, including venue coordination, invitations, RSVPs, run-of-show preparation, and post-event follow-up for donor engagements that fall outside of senior managers' work.
* Track engagement outcomes and ensuring appropriate follow-up activities are documented and completed.

Data, Technology & Reporting
* Maintain CRM records related to donor engagement activities, events, and stewardship interactions.
* Work alongside Advancement staff to coordinate the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards that track donor engagement, pipeline activity, and fundraising progress.
* Support advancement leadership by preparing reports and engagement summaries that inform strategy and decision-making.

Stewardship & Donor Experience
* Partner with the Sr. Manager of Health Care Donor Engagement and stewardship colleagues to support coordinated donor recognition and engagement efforts.
* Assist in coordinating donor visits and recognition activities aligned with Health Systems protocols and central donor relations best practices.
* Help ensure stewardship and engagement activities are documented and executed consistently across the Health Systems-Medicine advancement team in accordance with central donor relations best practices.

Advancement Operations Support
* Assist advancement leadership with scheduling, meeting preparation, and the development of presentation materials.
* Support gift society activities and cross-functional advancement planning meetings.
* Contribute to internal coordination efforts that support effective collaboration across advancement, clinical, and communications teams.

Shift

M-F 8am-5pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a role that required strong project coordination, initiative, communication, and attention to detail. Advancement or fundraising experience is a plus, but not required - transferable skills from other industries are welcome.
* Demonstrated proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and data/reporting tools such as Power BI.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling donor-facing content.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment where priorities may shift, and adaptability is essential.
* A genuine interest in mission-driven work and a desire to grow within a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $21.64 - $24.52/hour

Grade: GGS-8
