Job Title: Global Product Manager Reports To: Associate Director, Global Product Management Location: Austin, Texas is preferred or remote in the U.S.
Business Unit Description: Driven by Enovis' desire to create innovative products that help improve quality of life and restore movement to those suffering from degenerative arthritis, Enovis Surgical provides orthopedic surgeons with modern, patient-focused solutions for total joint arthroplasty.Enovis Surgical offers surgeons and their patients a full range of primary and revision implants for hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow reconstructive joint surgeries, in addition to the tools and digital health technology needed in today's changing healthcare environment. Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: We are seeking a Global Product Manager who will have responsibility for the growth of innovative products in the Surgical Business Unit within Enovis. In this critical position, you will have upstream global responsibility for our market-leading, high-growth, and high-visibility upper extremity portfolio including shoulder and elbow arthroplasty. Your day-to-day activities in this exciting and ever-changing role will include but are not limited to: product development, product launch, sales training and surgeon collaterals, surgeon and customer education for products and procedures, sales support, key opinion leader development, product life cycle (PLM) management, business and strategic planning, and market data analysis. You should have a clear understanding of marketing principles, superior project management skills, and excellent teamwork and communication skills. Product Managers are technical experts in their market segment and product lines. This is an individual contributor role. Key Responsibilities:
- Product development
- Manage product development initiatives to ensure products are launched that meet customer needs and market demands.
- Manage all aspects of new product introductions, including developing and communicating launch packages, collaterals, and plans with the partnership of the downstream marketing team.
- Develop and maintain strategic plans for current and future development of product lines inclusive of Enabling Technologies
- Create business plans in support of implementing projects and strategic initiatives
- Product development
- Manage product development initiatives to ensure products are launched that meet customer needs and market demands.
- Manage all aspects of new product introductions, including developing and communicating launch packages, collaterals, and plans with the partnership of the downstream marketing team.
- Develop and maintain strategic plans for current and future development of product lines inclusive of Enabling Technologies
- Create business plans in support of implementing projects and strategic initiatives
- Product line management and strategy
- Execute primary and secondary market research to develop cohesive market landscape and opportunity assessments in the segment.
- Understand competitive environment and develop appropriate product positioning.
- Create competitive matrices and product messaging.
- Support development of long-term product strategies and road maps.
- Recommend new product introductions and product rationalization opportunities.
- Research and assess market opportunities for new product ideas.
- Collaborate with sales operations, manufacturing, quality, engineering, medical education, legal, regulatory affairs, marketing communications, downstream marketing, and commercial education departments as required to enhance or improve existing products.
- Manage relationships and contribute to development of our surgeon KOLs
- Develop and maintain a high level of product category technical expertise through staying current with industry publications and interacting with key customers of product responsibility by observing surgery and attending medical/scientific meetings, presentations, and seminars

- Minimum five years product marketing experience including upstream marketing
- Medical Device industry experience is preferred.Orthopaedic experience preferred.
- Sales experience, downstream marketing, marketing communication experience is a plus
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Program Management, Life Sciences or Marketing is required.
- MBA or equivalent is preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Analytical, Entrepreneurial, Cross-functional collaboration, Process & Continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple products in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Must be comfortable in operating rooms/cadaver lab settingsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to work in varying environments including but not limited to a Cadaver Lab, Mechanical Testing Lab, office setting etc.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; spreadsheet software; internet software; contact / change management systems
Travel Requirements:
- Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time; domestic and international
- Typical work-related travel assignments including overnight, out-of-town stays are required.
