Aquent is partnering with a leading innovator in the manufacturing sector, renowned for its commitment to quality and cutting-edge solutions. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join a vital sales support team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall success of sales initiatives. Your ability to manage complex processes, communicate effectively, and anticipate needs will be crucial in supporting a bustling sales team and their clients, helping to drive efficiency and maintain strong relationships.
- LOCATION: Onsite in Austin, TX, 5 days per week
- HOURS: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- OPPORTUNITY: Temp-to-perm, with the potential to convert to a salaried position after 6 months if the candidate is a good fit
**What You'll Do:** * Act as a primary liaison between customers and sales managers, facilitating smooth sales activities.
* Provide essential product information, pricing details, and lead times to support customer inquiries.
* Accurately process customer orders, quotes, sample requests, and price approvals in a timely manner.
* Coordinate closely with manufacturing facilities to monitor order status, delivery schedules, and inventory availability.
* Prepare and meticulously maintain sales-related documentation, including reports, RFQs, purchase orders, sales orders, and customer records within a CRM tool.
* Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, certifications, and compliance standards (e.g., RoHS, REACH).
* Assist with customer onboarding processes and data entry into relevant systems. **What You'll Bring:** * **Must-Have Qualifications:**
* 2+ years of experience in sales support or customer service.
* Strong understanding of sales processes and documentation within a technical product environment.
* Experience processing and/or preparing sales quotes
* Experience with CRM programs like SAP
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Outlook & Excel).
* The ability to set clear, measurable goals and create a plan to achieve them. * **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience within the electronic components or connectors industry.
