What you will enjoy doing*
- You will lead strategic sourcing for Asset Recovery and Light-Duty Fleet by managing a Regional Sourcing Manager and Procurement/Asset Recovery Associates
- Set sourcing strategy, prioritize initiatives, and oversee request for proposal processes
- Further, you will guide supplier selection and lead negotiations to achieve cost, quality, and service targets
- Develop and manage an enterprise-wide Asset Recovery Program covering recycling, disposal, resale, and global strategy rollout
- Maximize value and sustainability of surplus, obsolete, and end-of-life assets through innovative disposition, marketing, and redeployment
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct complex negotiations with auctions, consignment partners, original equipment manufacturers, and service providers
- Ensure asset disposition complies with regulatory, environmental, legal, and corporate policies
- Also. you will collaborate with global stakeholders and strategic business units to set strategy, lead sourcing initiatives, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement and sustainability
What makes you great
- You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Possess a Master's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Business is preferred
- Bring at least four (4) years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or operational roles
- You have a minimum of three (3) years' experience negotiating and managing commercial contracts
- And you demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be willing and able to travel as required by operational needs
