Job Description




As a Security Officer Patrol DoD Clearance in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol professional, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with location procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or hazard concerns, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
