As a Armed Security Officer - Access Control in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and reliability to every shift while responding to site needs with agility and care.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry where required, while maintaining awareness of government facility rules, restricted areas, and/or post orders.
• Support Allied Universal team communication by relaying important updates, assisting with incident response, and/or preparing accurate reports related to daily activities and unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1+ years of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
