As a Security Officer Credential Monitor in Elkins Park, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor access points, verify badges and credentials, and help support a welcoming, secure environment for residents, guests, and staff. This access control role blends customer service, communication, and attention to detail while helping to identify security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor check-in protocols, and other security-related policies at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access while maintaining accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property staff and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Support Allied Universal standards by following post orders, reporting maintenance and/or life-related hazards observed during assigned duties, and providing clear updates to supervisors and property representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
